Meet Blended Learning

The following innovation plan has the goal of increasing student engagement and achievement. By giving students choice and ownership in their learning lies the opportunity for a magical, transformational learning experience. This video asks educators to see their classroom through the lens of students. It poses the questions, would you want to be a student in your own classroom? Would you be engaged?

I believe we can create significant learning environments by combining project based learning with blended learning. Learning should be authentic and personalized.

Literature Review

The literature supports that student engagement can be increased with a blended learning model.

Blended learning is also a more personalized approach to education.

Implementation Plan

I am excited to share my plan with you for piloting a blending learning model into my classroom. This is a guide for the many steps ahead as I embark on this new learning journey and share it with my colleagues.

Annotated Bibliography

This is a compilation of books I plan to read. Some of the books are for continued research and some are requirements for future classes in the Applied Digital Learning Program. A few have been on my list for awhile.
