In this course, I learned and shared ideas for using digital resources to enhance the learning environment. The main focus of this course was to write an article with the goal of publishing. Choosing a publication for submission helped me to focus on the content and style of writing. I plan on pitching my article to Edutopia. I enjoy reading Edutopia, because I like the casual style of writing from other educators sharing success stories in their own classrooms. The article is in alignment with my innovation project, Project Based Learning, Meet Blended Learning.

I also had the opportunity to create a podcast

as a media pitch for the publication of my article. 

Listening to podcasts is something I am accustomed

to doing and I enjoy them. Creating one was fun and 

and done in an interview style. I created a script 

beforehand and then made edits using Audacity.

 

My group offered some great feed forward on my first draft because writing is a process. The writing was improved by their valuable suggestions on improvements, building confidence for submitting it for publication.

The topic of my article, Finding the Right Balance: Connecting PBL with Blended Learning, will hopefully offer other educators some insightful tips for combining these two educational approaches that complement each other well.
