I am giving myself an 88 for my contribution to learning. After taking a break in Fall I, returning to learning felt good. However, there were few familiar faces in my class. I only take one course per eight weeks session instead of two. So, my original cohort has already graduated. Many of the groups I belonged to in previous courses are receiving their diplomas this month. So, I was relieved when Dr. Still assigned us a group to be with for the discussion board and to give feedback on our writing. It took the pressure off of this introvert of

reaching out to strangers. My group included Bethany Eisele, Jasmin Gilbert, Lola Gatlin, and Jermicia Herrington. We formed a group on the GroupMe app to communicate with each other. Bethany gave me valuable feedback on my paper. Jasmin completed work early with excellent examples. I did. not get a chance to offer feedback for all of my group members because of poor time management on my part. I did provide timely posts on the discussion board and responded to my groups posts. Having a group to focus on meant that I wasn't reading everyone's posts. This provided focus and made the discussion board manageable.
Going forward I will manage time better and give more valuable feedback to my peers.
