The Journey so Far

The most valuable lesson I have learned is how important it is to have an ePortfolio to organize work and to be able to go back and reflect on my writing. This metacognitive process is very important and helps to deepen the learning process. I've learned that finding my voice and writing style is taking some time to develop. So, thank you growth mindset for helping me accept that it is taking time and effort.

Freedom is a motivator. With ownership comes choices that make the learning journey more personal and meaningful. At first it was difficult to make a choice for the innovation project. Now that I know my focus it makes the program purposeful and I value that I will be working on my innovation project through out the program. An authentic project makes COVA work.

Learning by doing and creating is a good experience.

I will incorporate the COVA model into my own classroom when creating projects. I'll remember to let go and give up control. It matters to the learner.
