I bought a domain. My friend came up with digithull.us, a play on my last name and the program I am in. I got bluehost . Then I linked it to WordPress because it was my first choice to use for building my e-portfolio. I hit a wall. Then I decided to use Wix because most of my cohort was building their portfolios on Wix and it seemed more user friendly. All the templates are lovely. It's trouble shooting the little things I keep losing my patience with. After watching a dozen how to tutorials on Youtube, I just want time. I am usually pretty good at teaching myself how to do things, but not when pressed with time constraints while taking two graduate classes and teaching full time. You live and you learn. In the Spring semester, I only plan on taking one course at a time. Much more my pace. Sometimes it is hard to admit when you are struggling with something, because we just want to master things quickly. Now, if only I could figure out how to rearrange the navigation menu and create drop down sub menus, then I could feel proud of myself. Accomplished. Tech saavy. Not, yet.
